Keeping in Touch

The Society is always looking for ways to keep in touch with members, and this may be a way of doing that and at the same time making it possible for you to keep in touch with the Society.

Making comments is said to be easy. Click on the word 'comments' at the end of any item, make your comment and follow the instructions that appear. You may need to register, but there is no charge, and your comment can be anonymous if you wish, so please try it out and let's see how easy it really is!

If anyone experiences difficulty with commenting I would like to know about it, so please email the Society on secretary@talktalk.net

Now that we have had the Penn report, I wonder how that affects future Coastal Defence schemes in our area. We are being consulted on further schemes proposed between Scalby Mills and Holbeck, do we think Scarborough BC has the resources to manage such schemes or should they receive help from, say, DEFRA/Central Government?
